I am rewiring my 53 half ton and ran into a problem on the light switch. Someone rewired it at some time and upgraded to 12 volt etc. The light switch has seven wires, the headlight power wire is a double wire, but I only have one power wire coming from the fuse panel. Do I splice the one wire into the 2 wires coming from the switch. Seems logical but I am not sure, can anyone help on this? Thanks, Coach Frank

You got me baffled on that question. There are two wires that go to the headlights alright but they run from the dimmer switch on the floor. One wire from the light switch on the dash goes to the dimmer switch. Did this help at all? Someone sent this while back it also may help
