Then I took thread all nuts and a nylon sleeve. I bent the rod. It was one that just fit through the dash nut. Those are available through the parts house. I started with the bend long and did some trial fitting. I heated the rod and bent it, then threaded it. I'd check but its all installed now. Yes the knob is a repo.
