Anybody know of a good soda blasting company in the DFW area?
I'm just getting started on a 42 shortbed chevy project and would like to hear from local bolters on good services ,parts ect

Talk with your paint store first. I was told if you soda blast you will have adhesion problems. Soda is basic and the primers are acidic and the soda will affect the adhesion.

you are correct. However Soda blasting leaves a protective film on the surace that inhibits rust. A good cleaning afterwards is a must for paint adhesion.

if there's any film left it wasn't done right, it must be immediately flushed thoroughly, and water doesn't inhibit rust, - soda blasting is really a paint removal technique, it doesn't remove corrosion and leaves too smooth a surface - most paint mfgrs will not honor any warranty if soda blasting was used, regardless if it was defective paint product, poor application, or sloppy soda blasting - see here
