For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 182 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 182 | My customer told me someone told him this. The '47-53 repop bumpers are cheaper than the older ones. I'm guessing it would be the front bumper that would interchange since it has more arch to it; the rear bumper on the '47-54 pick-ups is pretty straight. I believe '41-46 pick-ups used the same bumper on the front and rear. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 457 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 457 | Check out photos in the Gallery.. they sure look similar, but may not have same curve, length or width. Somebody will be along to tell us.
edit: the '40 does use the same bumper front and rear, and it is the same as the passenger car.

No more car bumpers. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 | They might fit but it would probably take a lot of work to make them look right. | | |
