Back in the spring, I looked up rear drums for my 1969 c-20. I found them in a number of places for around $80. Now the only ones that I can find appear to be the wrong size for me. My rear shoes are about 2 3/4" wide and everything I can now find is 2" X 12"! The drums I need have completely vanished from the catalogs. It looks like I'm left with swapping to the 14 bolt, either rear end or brakes or disks or whatever. Can anyone shed some light on this situation? It doesn't do much good to have an indestructible rear end and NO brakes! Thanks and best wishes,

Les

Are your drums 11 5/32? My Napa catalog shows the 11 5/32 brakes with 2 3/4 width. The 12in. are all 2 in.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Ditto on the Rockauto.com . I was just there and they had a number of different drums for a 69. You may want to check out raybestos.com , You can compare part numbers and dimensions with what you have.

George, my local NAPA says they are no longer in the MASTER catalog on line, the one they can call into.

Steve, Rockauto is one I have yet to try, thanx!
