So I decided to try and replace the glass in my wing windows on our 55.2. I ordered the grey tinted ones and they are just about the same thickness as whats there. I started by totally removing what glass was left, then removed the inside door panel cover. Bout 12 large philips headed screws. That allowed me to get to the bottom of the wing window inside the door. All I really needed to do to extract the wing window frame was undo a nut on the bottom post under a large spring, then pull down on the top of the wing window frame.
That let a round rotater post some out of the upper window frame and then I could lift the wing window out of the door frame altogether. wow? I then removed the weatherstripping around inside of the door frame that the wing closes against, put in new, reinstalled the wing, and now just have to get some setting tape to put in the nerw glass. Can't believe how smoothly that went? If I am missing something here, please let me know so I can correct it. Brian
