For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 1 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 1 | Hi,
I'm new to the forum, as I recently acquired a '53 Chevy Pickup. It was recently painted but never put back together again. Someone has put holes in the doors for mirrors, though mirrors were not included in the sale. I've been looking like crazy for mirrors that would fit a 3 5/8" on-center 2-fastener mirror (that can be viewable from inside the cab). If anyone could make any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Ryan

Mid 70's stock Chevy chevelle, monte carlo,el camino fit that spacing...hmmm maybe they were gonna use that style? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 | I'm wondering if the stock mirrors have that spacing? They seem about that wide. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 130 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 130 | Stock mirrors mount on the upper cowl panel and would be to long for door mount. Im using a set of mirrors off a 80's Buick and that is about what I have for hole spacing. I had to set them high and forward to clear the vent window. | | |
