Need new master cylinder for my 56 2-ton. Anybody have a resource to share? Thanks!!! | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy DrPatrick, rather than use the term "2 ton", please use the model identification number 4400, for example. The most common master cylinder for that year is a 1 1/4" bore unit Raybestos p/n MC21698, available at RockAuto around $130.00. There are other master cylinders as well, 1 1/2" bore cylinders for heavy duty brakes or tandems, they have been made of unobtainium for a few years now, hope that helps. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 1,159 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 1,159 | Try accessorylandtruckparts.com. What would you call that 2 ton, 3 ton? | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy MAX1VET, the master cylinder for your truck would be a 1 1/4" unit as well, Raybestos p/n 9220, available at RockAuto for $100.12, hope that helps. | | | | | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 574 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2012 Posts: 574 | can you get rebuild kits for big bolt master cylinders?
