I don't know either, but when I saw it on the Jumbotron at the Navy vs VMI game last week, I about fell out.

I'm told (by my son, a Plebe), that this is called a "Spirit Spot" or similar, is sanctioned, and is meant to be used to entertain the youngsters and crowd during the game. Worked on me...

Gotta let 'em get loose once in a while, right?
