I can buy a 57 gmc truck lcf. I am waiting to hear if it has the tubeless rims.
Does it make sense to buy this truck and swap out the from and rear axles or should I continue to look into modernization? Will the swap be a bolt in situation?
Thanks

What would you gain by using parts 6 years newer but still old, and not likely an easy swap?
My first guess is it sounds like a lot of work for no appreciable gain.

Find out what the wheels are and bolt pattern, if 22.5" 5/10 lug they'll swap to the 51 with some hub bushings.
