There are nipples on both sides of the clutch fork that would prevent the offset rod from travelling medially or laterally.

Sorry about not mentioning the year of the truck. It's a '51 with a '57 235. I guessed if I put it in my signature, that would do the trick.
The clutch fork is adjusted out just about as far as it can be. I thought maybe welding the indentation, if it's worn will give me more leeway. But I didn't want to fix what's not broken- you know?
