For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 45 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 45 | Stock 1949 3600. I would like to make it more road worthy. The stock gearing is not going to work for me.
I would also like to lower it as well.
Any advice? | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | An overdeive transmission is a good idea for more speed. I bet it's roadworthy as it is if in good shape.

Both will turn up in searches here.
