Guys,
For my '59, I bought some simple seals that fit on the bottom of the door window.
In order to remove the channel from the window frame, I have been faced with a dilemma. Some flat-head screws (clutch type) threaded into slotted barrel nuts.
The problem is, these items have pretty much become one with the frame.
Has anyone run across this?
I'm just wondering if I'm I going to have to drill them out and find some replacement screws and barrel nuts... and then find a source... or if I should just say "heck with it" and not install the seals.
Any suggestions?
Jerry

those barrel nuts/screws are always buggered, replacements are available from some of the vendors cheap, replace them even if you can free up the originals

Thank you, Bill!
I'll drill the suckers out, this evening!
I really do want the seals installed.

The Screws and Barrel Nut sets arrived in the mail yesterday!
I was really impressed with Carter's and I hope they remember to send me that catalog.
I'm now waiting on my glass and setting tape.
