jockbolter50 'Bolter J Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 Scotland	Not sure if this is in the right place but the gas tank is inside the cab so I guess that qualifies as 'Interior'. I was fitting my new 12v gas sender today and the screws supplied are the wrong diameter. Can anyone tell me what I'm looking for,sadly i'm a victim of the European metric system and don't understand those funny old fashioned sizes...... 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in Scotland In the Stovebolt Gallery More pix on Flickr. If I remember correctly the screws on my original tank were smaller than the ones on the new spectra tank I purchased. Fortunately the new tank came with a set of screws for the sender. ...click... The one source I have here tears me a new one every time I go into the place. Thanks for the kind offer Tiny,ironically you could have probably still sent me them cheaper than that guy would have charged me here. Long story short,I got to thinking and simply re-tapped the screw holes to 5mm metric. I used plenty of grease on the tap to avoid swarf dropping into the tank.
