There is no ID. plate on it, it has two shift rods on it that are passing through the main housing not in the cover. I'm assuming it is a three speed, but I'm not sure, I've looked in my old books, but most show a trans. with the shift rods in the cover. Anyone have any idea what this trans might be??? There were several brands of auxixilaries, with the most common being Spicer and Brown-Lipe. I think there was also a brand called "Truxtell" or something similar, but they mainly made auxiliary drive axles for the Model T and other older commercial vehicles.

'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
