on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 5 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 5 | Hey guys,
I've been lurking for a while (and by lurking I mean stealing information from the tech section) and finally decided to register and post on the forums.
My family and myself have a bunch of old vehicles, but the ones that you'd be interested in are the grey '42 truck and the red '46 truck.
The grey one is my father's and has been in the family since the end of world war two. He purchased it off the army, rebuilt the motor, gave it a coat of killrust and put it to work on the farm.
The old girl's never been unregistered, never been restored, still runs like a clock and I get her out more often than not. For example, last weekend I took her for a 200 mile round trip to Brisbane and back for a car show.
My red one ws purchased by my father in the 80s as a manure-hauler (my Dad used to own and run a racehorse stud) and as a parts truck for the grey beast. It's vbeen sitting in a paddock for the past decade or so waiting for me to drag her into town and get cracking. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 5 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 5 | Ok, I'm having some trouble posting pictures.
I don't know why, but whenever I copy and paste anything into the 'post' box, it doesn't show up when I post it onto the forum, but shows up fine in the preview box.

I'm not too good at posting links either, there is a section somewhere on how to do it.
