Here is what is on the passenger side of the block, by the dip stick (on the polished surface) 0I73646 F54N It is in a 1951 two ton. I have spent quite a bit of time and all I can find is that it is likely a 1954 engine. That is the way they appear on the head. Also, I see the two "captain's bars" on the block near the starter. Not all 261's have the captains bars. I had one that didn't. | | |
