Tell me more about this. Was this a custom or is someone selling these? Are you using the narrow belt?

The voltage regulation is really good. I mounted it by flipping the generator brackets backwards and the pulleys lined up. I kept the wide vee of the 216 by using the old pulley that was on my generator- you just grip the circumfrance of the pulley with a pipe wrench and unscrew the nut and swap them- the threads and shaft size are the same. I kept the original fan on the alternator- they were separate pieces. I noticed that on my other 12 volt generator I have as a spare that the pulley and fan are one piece. You can also buy new pulleys that are differant widths. I made the alternator the one wire type by connecting the ignition terminal to the battery. I am quite happy with it but if you want a 60 amp alternator you have to either start with a heavy duty 15si alternator (120 amp) or get a purpose built one. The original generator capacity was only about 40 amps anyway so a 30 amp unit is fine, at least for me. If you use a smaller diameter pulley on the alternator then you will get more current at idle. You won't be able to overrev an alternator with a stovebolt engine.
