Hi all,

Finally starting to work on my Chevy 3800 duallie. I want to know if I can run the duallie hubs on the rear eaton ho72 with newer single rim wheels or will it cause issues with wear on the axle shafts and bushings?

I recently purchased my motor-- a mercedes om617.951 5 cylinder turbo diesel. Getting excited to make progress.

So you have a rear axle that came with dual wheels on it?
You want to bolt single type wheels on it (with nearly no offset)?

Sounds good to me.
Does it give you the track width you need?

Bigger question is will you have a gear ratio and transmission combo that makes good use of the Diesel?

Here's a speed calculator

Darenhg72 - Is it the 1952 in your profile? Any photos showing it with single rears? What size rims/tires are you running?
