For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 9 | Well - I have some issues with the posting as I copy/pasted so I'm using the edit function now.
*** Been lurking here since last autum when my eldest son got a GMC 1/2-ton long bed from 1951. It had been sitting since 1980 and last winter and spring when put some work in to it haveing it running. I do the mechanics and the son the sheet metal work and the younger son helps out with both.
Early July we got it on the road and the son has been using it as his DD to and from work.
I'm new to trucks and GMC/Chevy - I have a Desoto S11 from -48 and we have some other old American Iron within the fammily - but i hope to be able to contribute in some way ! //d

This is a problem that some people are experiencing intermittently.
Try to type in your message rather than using cut-and-paste.
If there is an option below the bottom right of the edit/reply box that says "Switch to Full Reply Screen", select that option.
Also, there might be a drop-down menu at the bottom left of this box. If there is a choice, select "Using UBBCode and HTML"
Good luck,
