I want to have the power steering pump, alternator, and the a/c compressor, (Vintage Air) mounted in the front. The Summmit heads have accessory holes that can be used. Does anyone have a picture of their engine showing where they mounted them? I would like to get an idea of where you put them and what brackets you used. Thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 | Get the brackets that are meant to go with whatever vintage air setup you're using. | | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 | Have a look at Bills Hotrod Accessories...they have a multitude of brackets for all sorts of setups, including not drilled heads. | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 576 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 576 | dont have air but i used an after market upper and lower from speedway for the alt...and used an alan groves for the power steering pump....everything lines up nice no issues.... here .......dave 1949 Chevrolet 3100 "When this thing hits 88 miles an hour, you're going to see some serious sh%t." -Doc Brown

It shows the style of the brackets you used on the alternator, I was hoping to see that. I was starting to try to put the alternator on the right, now I see how to do it on the left. | | |
