It might be possible to machine the timing cover to accept a conventional lip seal, if you can find one that will fit the balancer hub. It might also be necessary to machine and/or polish the hub snout to use a lip seal on it.

The 207 HB is made in two pieces and can be damaged if pulled off using a regular jaw type puller. During installation you must install two cap bolts to hold the two halves together before you drive it on. Don't forget to remove the bolts after it's installed. Mike B  | | |
