I have wired up the 2 wire, stop, turn, tail lights and when I use either turn signal both rear lights flash. Where have I gone wrong? | | |

Instructions will tell you to cut a line going to brake switch and how it is rewired thru turn signal switch. | | |

Actually you were absolutely correct. The mechanic connected from the brake switch to the turn signal as he should, but had left the wire from the brake switch to the brake lights connected and also had a hot wire connecting the two brake lights. We cut those two wires and it works perfectly.
