292 6 cyl. - I installed a new Chinese made exhaust manifold on my 292. I had to have the intake machined for smoothness where it meets the exhaust manifold. Consequently now the intake is too low to meet the ports & bolt holes in the head. Does someone make a spacer or thick gasket to compensate for this gap...I presently trippled up 3 gaskets with silicone, kinda poor repair, but I can't think of anything else...Would like to repair it correctly...Thanks

How thick does it need to be -- 16 ga? 12 ga?
You should be able to make one yourself with a jig saw.
Just use the gasket as a template.
