putting 235 engine in a 51 1300 pickup. is there only 2 parts to this mount ,the rubber and the thin shield? does the shield go on top of rubber or on the bottom? MJ Thanks in advance!!!

Most likely you are referring to the front motor mount?

Here's some info on hardware that I used when I replaced the motor mounts in my '54. My engine was not out of the truck, so I had to grind off the side of one of the carriage bolts. You may not need to if you have not installed the front plate on your engine yet, or if the original bolts are still in the plate.

If you are referring to my link, that is Chevrolet Master Parts & Accessory Catalog. It has prices from 1957 and original GM part numbers.

I do not think that all 4 front motor-mount parts are available in reproduction, but the front motor mount top cover/shield is available from Classic Parts and from other vendors (check the Links section of Stovebolt.com). Jim Carter might have more mount parts, but his site crashes when being viewed by my tablet computer.

Classic Parts and many other vendors sell the rubber front motor mount. You might want call and check that the mount has metal bushings in the rubber, surrounding the two bolt holes.

I bought two pieces for my front motor mount from The Filling Station. Don't know if there is any difference between suppliers.
