| | | | Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 253 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 253 | I'm about to haul the short block of my old 1945 splash oiler off to the scrapper but I got looking at the oil pan on it that is in really good shape, better than the one on my 58 261 and wondered if it would fit.
What years will that 235 pan fit? Also is the front motor mount worth saving? I'd hate to throw this out if it is a hard to find item that could help out a fellow member of this site.

A 1945 pan will have dipper troughs in it and would need to be cut out to be used on a full pressure engine.
I am sure someone here will want the mount.

You can use a 216/splash 235 pan on a full pressure 53,54 & 55 first series truck if you cut out the troughs.
