I'm restoring a 1953 3100 and during restoration I removed the doors and the hinges on each. I did not mark the hinges on removal and was wondering if the upper and lower hinges are different. Does it make a difference what hinge goes where? I can't seem to get the doors to align. If they are different, is there a way to tell which hinge is the upper and which is the lower? Thanks for your help.

Compare pics, you can see the difference

pictures tell it all but the top hinges also are the ones what have the "door check" horseshoes in them.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

All four hinges are unique and can only go in one location.
