Anyone know where to pick up a set? Or am I stuck having to find somewhere to get them relined?

I scoured the internet last year to find a good set, with little luck. Finally had my local brake guy reline them and make new pads. Ended up being cheaper than trying to find used and running the risk of still having to have them redone.

I had mine redone and I am very happy with them. There was no problem installing them and they work great.

Anyone know a place that relines brake shoes in the Seattle WA area?

NAPA has shoes to fit your truck (UP299R).

They also have return springs 80163 (set of 4) and the adjuster spring @ the bottom that holds the 2 shoes together 80518 (also a set of 4).

New, made in USA wheel cylinders are available from Dorman as W18010. Same for both sides. I bought mine on Amazon.com.

The 14" x 2-1/2" Bendix brake was used up into the 80's in the Chevy truck line.

Looking for a company advertising "industrial frictions" will usually get you to a place that does relining.

I sent mine to jim carter, When I got them back they were bonded and not rivited, But they work fine.
