Dale has since passed away. The truck originally was from Connecticut where it performed its duties as a painting and wallpapering truck for a design firm. It has been on the west coast for some time and I am finally ready to install a rebuilt engine and running gear. I plan to leave the exterior the way it is with the 60+ year patina. Got an extra tail gate for one of these?....I need one! Otherwise it is a very complete and fully accessorized specimen. Cool truck! They are pretty rare! Some frends of mine are restoring two (1/2 ton and 1 ton) for a cilent. I have been following the progres on these every week since they startedthe projects.
It may be quite difficult to find a tailgate (unless you get real lucky) - they are fabricating new one from scratch!
