Hey guys, have a 59' Apache 3100 with the 235. One of the four bolts that hold the carb together has been MIA since I picked up the truck. I'm about to rebuild the carb and have not been able to locate a replacement bolt locally at any automotive or hardware stores and have no idea where to order a new one.

Can anyone send me in the correct direction on getting a replacement?

Is it a Rochester or Carter carb? Post a pic, I might have one I can send you.

It must be a model B. Coach or I can send you one.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

The Rochester Bs were upgraded somewhere around 1952 and the size of those screws changed.

Sorry for the delay, here is the pics of the bolt. Also needing the brass fitting for the fuel pump. I took that to hardware stores as well and no one could get me one that cuts at an angle. I accidently threw my old one away. In the pic is the straight one (that goes up to the carb). I need to know what the one is called / size of the one that connects to the tank fuel lines.

Hy dvious, The screw is a 10/32" X 3/4" fillister head I believe, you didn't specify which angle of fitting you required, so here are the Weatherhead p/ns for the fittings
straight is 202X5X4
45 degree is 325X5X4
90 degree is 402X5X4, hope that helps.

Hate to bump this again but I can't find that fitting by the part number. I need the 45 degree. Can anyone give me the specs on it?

I think I'm getting close though: http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/detail.ex?sku=440079-131280

The fitting for the feul pump is most likey a male pipe to female inverted flare, you'll need to go to the local auto parts store to find one, rather than a hardware store. The numbers that 3B posted are for Napa, but any parts stroe should be able to cross reference them if you don't have a Napa store locally.

Try this for the fuel pump fitting:

http://www.chicagocorvette.net/category_view.php?cat_id=1101

and for the screws:

http://www.classicchevy.com

and search for part # 34-145 or 34-146
