Has 248 in it. got the 4 speed seperated from bell housing now cant figure how to seperate from motor. Pulled top two bolts and wont break loose. Any help would be great. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 71 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 71 | If the 248 attaches like the 235, there are 4 mounting bolts from the inside of the bell. You have to remove the pressure plate, clutch, and flywheel to access them. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 60 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 60 | | | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | Just took my 228 out of my new project and there are 6 bolts like Coachie said 4 of them are under the pressure plate.Same as Chevy.
