OK, have a stock 350 Chevy using an electric fuel pump, mounted near the tank per manufacturers recommendations. Runs great, no problems, until it is really hot, like yesterday (95.) After driving, when I stopped to get gas, had car shut off for 10 minutes or so, turned on key, and the pump made the loud hammering, indicating it was sucking air. I started the car, no problem. But the noise continued for maybe 30 seconds, quieted down, and I drove home 30 miles. Usually, it just clicks, but since it got hot, this is happening. Any thoughts, suggestions, or whatever would be appreciated!!
