I finished up my interior this weekend and added a few pics to photobucket. Still need to paint seat aprons and lower door hinge covers. Should be on the road this weekend!!!!

Nice work! My seat looks the same but mine came out of a 67 C30. You have a lot of room between the steering wheel and seat. Is the column original?

Yup, it's the original column and seat frames. I just put a 13 inch steering wheel on for the extra room. I'm 6'4" 235lbs so I need all the room i can get. LOL

Very nice job on your truck. If it runs as good as it looks it must be a pleasure to drive. Hope one day mine will look half as good as yours.

Thanks for the compliment. I have only driven it down to the corner and back. 1/2 mile. Just pulled it out of the barn last week after restoration. Working a a couple little bugs then I can enjoy. Have just a few things left to do. If you stay persistant on working on yours it will get there. I didnt think I was ever going to be done.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

The're some wheels I already had. I've been looking around for different style. I'm going to put a cd changer with remote and it will have a receiver for FM radio. None of it will be seen. A speaker is going in the original spot but no audio will be visible. Just did some wet sanding and buffing. Looking awesome. Hopefully some bolters from Michigan can check it out. I'm planning on taking it to the big show over the bridge in 2 weeks. Anyone going?

I'm planning the same stereo set up on mine. Probably do an ipod jack instead of cd's tho.

I did the entire truck myself over the last 3 1/2 years. Go to interiors and I just explained how I put my headliner in.

The headliner came from LMC truck and costs $40 I do belive. The visors complete are I think $50. It's the original style cardbord type liner. Nothing fancy.
