on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! So, I spent almost the entire day sanding all the old paint/primer/body filler/tar/rust/bird poop/unidentified gunk off of ONE fender. I even had to use my 4.5" angle grinder in places for some of the body filler because it was on so thick. And then........just as I was innocently rinsing the fender off with the hose, admiring the days work and congratulating myself for a job well done, it occurred to me........I HAVE TO DO THE INSIDE OF THE FENDER, TOO!

Weild fast the 4.5 to reveal the inner prime then 80grits weigh quickly on the rest follow the inner journey of the under fender and watch the birth of Hammer and Dolly spring forth. All is as it should be Beers are in the fridge?

Thanks for that one! It ought to make life at least a LITTLE easier and less frustrating.
And, YOU, CASO! Or, should I call you.....MASTER? When one is searching for the inner fender, must he not pass through many dimensions not known to him to achieve one-ness with the metal?
Anyway, 54barnfind may have the right idea after all.
OR..........I have been doing extensive research on the advisability of just going with the 3-part POR15 process on the inside of the fenders after blasting off the majority of the flaking rust. I think I'll go with the silver per their recommendation. It'll surely reduce the time and frustration factor.
