Can anyone tell me where I could find new clutch head striker plate screws for my 58? Assembly manual no. 454042. Thanks for your help.

I've never seen clutch heads on the TF strikers, just phillips, which are available at most of the vendors, like here .... note the assembly manual was printed in '55, with a lot of specs carried over from the AD years

The originals for my truck are clutch head and quite worn. Can't find any from common suppliers. I've noticed the striker plates for 59 use a larger I think 6 point bolt. Also noticed these clutch heads on earlier models.

Are the striker plate screws 1/4-20 with attached star washer? (I don't remember what is in my '54)

I did pretty much the same as you, I was just luckier. It's been a while. I probably Googled some variation of "clutch head". Plus I looked at every page of suppliers' catalogs. Screws don't always show on the suppliers' websites. Also, I may have seen some of the sources discussed on other forums (?) Always looking for more sources.
