Hello all,
I've attached a few pics from yesterday if you would like to view. Just pulled it out of the barn 2 days ago. Almost done with the restoration!!!! It hasn't seen sunlight since last spring. I have a few interior things to finish up like the seat aprons, headliner and lower hinge coversand then wet sand and polish. I will add some underhood pics and additional exterior once I get the truck all cleaned up.

Hope you like!!!

Yes I did, thanks for the compliment. I will post some of my older pics showing alot of the work when I get a chance. I painted each panel seperatly in my barn (old hay barn I'm slowly converting into a shop). i made one room into a paint booth using palstic and some fans!!! I'm a bit of a perfectioinst and wanted to do it myself so it was exactly how I wanted it. I hate tape lines so everything inside and out has been sprayed.

Love the color. Is that "armour yellow"?

Wow, what a beautiful truck. Finish product shows lots of hard work and tedious attention to detail. Drive it around proudly, good job.
The wooden bed looks flawless, how many coats of lacquer did you have to use to get that shine?

No it's chrome yellow. It's actually a FORD color. LOL Some guys may not like that but I didn't know until after I picked it from a color chart and it was mixed. 3 coats of single stage yellow and 3 coats of clear over the single stage.

yellow52, what a nice looking truck. I like the way it sets. Same look that I'm after with my 47 1/2ton. Good to see you have the I-6, what do you have for a rear end and tranny? You did yourself proud.

Thanks a lot for the compliment. It has the original 3 speed trans and column shift. Also has the original torque tube rear. It's like a tractor with a truck body on it. I beleive it has 4:11's from the factory (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)but it's no runner by any means.

I spent may hours on it. There were times (many) I almost threw in the towl but persistance did pay off.
