i am finishing up the final details on my 56. it is supposed to get painted this week, so i want to drill any/all holes in the sheet metal before it is painted so there are no bare edges, etc.

when i bought my doors off an old firetruck, the seller gave me a Guide S2-55 Spot lite that was on the truck. it is like the ones you see on police cars, that can be adjusted from inside the vehicle. it looks complete, but its disassembled. i don't know precisely where it goes, how it is assembled, nor how it is wired.

so i am looking for installation instructions and/or pictures (exterior/interior) if anyone can help out. i am wavering on installing it at all, so opinions of doing so or not are also welcome.

one last shot at bringing this to the top to see if anyone has a picture of the precise mounting location for these spot lights. i found that they were called "safety lights" back in the day.

if i know where it goes on the cab/cowl - i am sure i can figure out how to install it.

I would check your local laws to see if such lights are legal where you live before drilling any holes! The only private citizens who can run spotlights are Volunteer Firemen around here. I think that goes back to "jacklighting" deer for poaching.
Anyway, it can't hurt to check.
