What's the correct 6V headlight for my 50 GMC...anybody got a part number or good description? I'm sure these can't be too hard to find, but without a part number (the AC Delco number, not the GMC number) I'll end up with a garage full of stuff I can't use! Any idea who has them at reasonable prices? Thanks!

Actually, I'd like the GM part number for these too, since there's some on Ebay that claim to be correct. Before I jump, anybody know? THANKS!

The correct GM part numbers are #5942287 for the LH and #5942289 for the RH. Besides AC-Delco, Wagner has replacements #DOTH84.

The package mine came in says:
AC
Guide 300
Sealed Beam
6006
6 volt 5956006

The lens says:
T3
GUIDE

No distinction between right and left.

THANKS!!!!! As luck would have it, my local NAPA store had a pair they said were correct. But I always get nervous when the kid behind the counter looks younger than my own kids, never checks the book, and is talking with authority about a 50 year old truck!

Haven't picked 'em up yet, hoping the numbers match what you guys just gave me!

Thanks again!
