If that fact makes any difference, I don't know. I used the 216 water pump, adaptor and pulley. The pulley on the water pump matches the crankshaft pulley (harmonic balencer) as far as belt width is concerned. I believe it is a 5/8" belt. I then changed the 12v gen. pulley to a 5/8" (it was the small one, 3/8") to match the other two. Now I can't find the belt to match. Does anyone know a Advance Auto, o'reilly's or Auto Zone part # that will give me the correct belt? AND i THOUGHT GETTING THE BELT WOULD BE THE EASY PART!!! HA!!!

Then go to a tractor store and give them the length you need. Make sure you tell them you want the 5/8 width belt. Some call it a 5L belt. When I measure with a rope/wire I always make sure to space it up to take in consideration of the width of the belt. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 304 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 304 | 10-4 I took the 3/8 belt to an o'reily's and he tried to match it with a 5/8 belt. He only had belts the went from 3/8 to 3/4. No 5/8 at all. That's why I was questioning myself about the 5/8" width. That is what it measures.

Find an old parts store. One that's been in business for many years. They should be able to find you a belt.
