Structurally it's all good but there are a couple areas with some extensive pitting and another few areas where the edge is thinned out. Wondering if I should try to build up then grind down the pitts/thin spots or use some sort of filler? Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks. If the areas aren't structural you might be able to lead solder them although i'm not sure if the POR will stick to that either.....
You could try a practice run on an old piece of scrap metal first.

I looked at the POR15 site and they have a thickened POR15 in tubes that works as a filler. Figure I'll use that for the smaller pits. Guess I'll see what's left after sandblasting and decide how to proceed with deeper pits and thin areas. | | |
