It is a 2 piece plastic/rubber type of seal, engine age uncertain but it is a 6 cyl, 235.

Inner bolts 70 ft./lb.
Outer bolts 65 ft./lb.
On the 200-some 4 bolt round track engines I've built, we always tightened the inner bolts first, then the outers. I use a good anti-sieze compound like Never-Seez, and reduce the factory torque spec by 5%, which would be 67 and 62. Torque specs are written for bolts lubed with 30 weight motor oil.
OOPS! Disregard the above info! That's for small block V-8 4 bolt engines! Back soon!
Motor lists 54-63 6 cylinder main bearing torque at 100-110 ft/lb with no difference for inner or outer bolts on the rear main cap. I'd suggest the same procedure, inner first, then outer. If you use anti-sieze, try 95-105 as a good spec.
