If there was a headliner, how was it mounted, between the roof reinforcements or under? How was it attached?

The side sheet metal covered the ends. I believe they were bonded. I did a tip on TF Suburban Headliner Idea here.

Didn't have drumming. Big Block Dual Exhaust though! Glad you checked out and liked the idea. Not all my ideas are good. There are lots of good ideas here for original, insulated liners. Search and find. Cheers.
