Well I got another one from the scrap guy, can't believe people are letting these go for scrap.
Any other Maple Leaf owners out there?

Hy gcs005, glad to see someone else is saving rolling history from the scrap man! I have four Maple Leaf trucks, a 1937 2 1/2 ton, a 1943 3 ton, a 1946 3 ton, and a 1950 3 ton. What is the serial number on your latest?

Don't understand how scrappers think. They see $400 in molten steel where anybody with half a brain sees at least $3000 in parts!

Parts...definitely. Strip that thing of anything useable and send it back to whence it came.

That's a nice collection of Maple Leafs 3B.

The serial # is 2167302206 and model 16-73

Looks like the AD bus is also a Maple Leaf, I couldn't make out what the hood side emblems were at first (the emblems themselves are gone and only a ghost image from many resprays is left).

Can't find any tags on the bus though.

Hy gcs005, your Maple Leaf is a 2 1/2 ton model with a 159 1/4" wheelbase, and is Chevy powered.

3B, Any photos of your Maple Leafs on the web. I'd love to see that '50 model. I've got a set of AD Maple Leaf "Three Ton" hood emblems.

A Canadian Maple Leaf GM truck was, I think, a Canadian GM Chevrolet truck with a GMC engine (was the GMC engine built in the USA?).

1930s to 1951? Does anyone know a good website with information?
