There are some exclusions like COE's in the late 30's. Mike B | | | | | Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 14 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 14 | Thank you for the info. Do you know where I could find this steel button at.

Mine has the round knob but the 38's I've seen restored had a pedal similiar to the one in Jim Carters catalog for later models. I hadn't seen anywhere it seemed to attach to floor. Maybe folks didn't realize there was no pedal originally. MY33 on the 38 there is a grommet in the metal floor where the accelorator rod comes thru then the knob screws on the end of rod. Does your 33 have the wooden floor?

You never know what other Bolters have laying around... You could make one fairly easy...cut a 1-1/2" circle out of a piece of 1/4" plate and weld a 1/4-28 nut to the back, round over the edge on the front side, cut a checker board pattern on the front with a hack saw as anit skid and paint it black. This will get you by until you find the correct button. Mike B | | | | | Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 14 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 14 | I thank you for your replies. I will end up making one as you stated and will put a wanted ad on the classified section.
Thanks all for the info.

It has a curved rod coming up from the floor whick I will look at to see if it is treaded so I can install the hand made one until I get the correct on. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 9 | I have a pedal out of a 1955.1 COE F353 if you want it.
