Starting to hook up accessories to my '59 fuse block and I am having a hard time finding fuses that physically fit this thing. Been to Radio Shack and Ace, looked on a bunch of online Chevy Parts stores and the only thing they sell are blade style. I am either finding fuses that are just too long or just too short, why am I having a hard time with this, what gives?

Here's a chart that lists fuses by dimensions. You probably need the SFE type fuses which vary in length depending on amperage capacity. I'd suggest upgrading to the plug-in type self-resetting circuit breakers instead of fuses if you can find some that fit your fuse block.

The glass fuses are getting hard to find but some auto parts stores like O'Reilly/Checker and Pep Boys still carry them and on eBay you can buy them in lots.

Thanks for the replies. That chart is a big help, and guess I'll buy bulk on ebay.
