I am bolting a 305ci in my 1942 chevy pickup.
Can anybod tell me the torquesettings that the pressureplate-bolts needs, the flywheel and the bellhousing-bolts need.
Or where I can find them.

#83976 10/09/2007 11:05 PM | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,771 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,771 | Flywheel-to-crankshaft bolts are 7/16" diameter, and torque to 65 ft/lb. Not sure what the newton/meter conversion is.
The pressure plate bolts are 3/8" diameter, and torque to 30-35 ft./lb.
Bellhousing-to-block bolts don't necessarily need to be torqued, but 30-35 ft./lb. will work for them also.
