I am currently working on reinstalling the front axle on my 54 3100. I am wondering if there are any tricks to set the caster shims when bolting up the axle to set the camber. I can't seem to find any breakdowns or diagrams online. Thanks for any tips.

Maybe someone will post a practical way to measure the degrees of caster angle and where to find shims.
I just put the original shims back in and hope that is OK.

Here are some photos of an original shim. There is a hole in the middle to clear the spring-pack center-bolt head. There is a "locating pin" on one side and a slight dimple/indentation on the other side of the "pin".
