| | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 16 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 16 | I AM PUTTING THE ENGINE BACK IN MY 53 CHEVY P.U. I CANT REMEMBER HOW THE FRONT MOTOR MOUNT IS ASSEMBLED. IT SEEMS SIMPLE ENOUGH, BUT I HAVE A 52 I'M LOOKING AT AND IT HAS TWO WASHERS BETWEEN THE MOUNT AND FRAME, I DONT RECALL THAT ON THE 53 ,BUT THEN AGAIN I TOOK IT APART TEN YEARS AGO.AND THE TWO MOUNTING BOLTS GO UP FROM THE BOTTOM SO THE NUTS ARE ON THE TOP AND BOLT HEADS ARE ON THE BOTTOM .IS THIS THE CORRECT WAY TO REASSEMBLE OR DID THINGS CHANGE BETWEEN 52 AND53 ALSO IS THE SEAT FRAME PAINTED THE SAME AS THE STEARING COLUMN COLOR?
