I have a 55 1/2 that I need motor mounts for. I plan on putting the stock 265 back in her. I've found the v8 car motor mounts for $50 complete set. Just wondering if they are the same length or not. The cars went to side mounts in 58, not sure when the trucks made the switch. Jerry

The bigger trucks did use the "U" mount and the smaller was like the cars. A third type (Corvette) mounted between the waterpump and block and sit on biscuit mounts on each side.
