Gap: .035" Torque: 20-25 ft.lb.

Are the torque values the same (20-25 ft-lb) for spark plugs that have been removed and are now going back into the block with the old gaskets? Can't remove the old gaskets from the plugs, or don't know how. Autolight 303 plugs. '54 235, 1959 3836848 head December 22, 1959. Thanks,

Tight enough they don't leak is tight enough. Just snug. | | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 1,232 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 1,232 | I've never torqued spark plugs either. Got a couple of new torque wrenches. Guess I was trying to find something to torque!
Thanks,
